About ActiveMac
ActiveMac Consulting was founded by Ben Robbins in 1993. He had previously worked with several of the major businesses of the Puget Sound area, including Boeing, Microsoft, Group Health Cooperative, and US West before founding his own consulting service.
This broad range of experience in different industries gave him valuable insight into how technology should be used, and how it should not be used.
ActiveMac has served a range of clients over the past six years, from Fortune 500 companies to small local businesses. Clients have included Adobe, Ernst & Young, Intel Corporation, Liz Claiborne Footwear, Metro-King County, and the Pacific Science Center.
In 1995, ActiveMac teamed up with Dolphin Technical Communications Inc (DTCI) to provide web services for select clients. In 1997 ActiveMac purchased remaining interest from DTCI and assumed complete control of those services, which it continues to provide to this day.
ActiveMac has also been active in the community, volunteering our services at the Olympic Hills Elementary School computer lab and recently assisting the Bainbridge Ometepe Sister Islands Assocation (BOSIA).
